Meet Your Teacher
Hello!
My name is Mrs. Melissa Emschweiler and I have been teaching math at York Catholic since 2015 and I am also the Math department chair. I coach Middle School Cheerleading for the Football and Basketball seasons. You will also see me coordinating Homecoming in the fall and Prom in the spring.
Outside of school, you will find me training for Disney Half Marathons, working in my clothing boutique, teaching dance classes, or spending time with my husband and our French Bulldogs.
I graduated from Shippensburg University in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Math and Science Education for grades 4-8. In 2020 I graduated with my Master's Degree in Assessment, Curriculum & Teaching with a concentration in STEM Education from Millersville University.
I love teaching and I'm looking forward to getting to know you!
